TAPPING INTO YOUR FEMININE ENERGY/SOFT GIRL ERA : EP 2

It’s finally the last week of march, yaayyyy 🎉

Last Saturday we started a series on how to tap into your feminine energy/soft girl era and today I’m going to delve into some amazing aspects that I didn’t get to mention last week.

1. BE CREATIVE AND INDUSTRIOUS.

What can you do with your hands? What skill do you have? Being lazy isn’t attractive at all and is definitely not girly. Nothing screams class like a lady who’s able to pay for her own stuff and take care of herself without waiting for a man to do so.

Get a job sis, those bills ain’t gonna pay itself. Enough of the asking for urgent 2k or 50k every day. Go learn a skill and actually practice it, go back to school if you have to but please do not let anything stop you from making your own money even if there’s an Odogwu pararan in your life.

2. MINGLE.

You see this table, I’m going to shatter it today! But first I want to say that there’s nothing wrong with wanting to stay at home to rest, watch movies or study but do not make it a habit.

Go out once in a while and catch up with friends, take yourself out, go on solo dates. Instead of seeing that movie in your house, go to a cinema. You can do a slumber party with your female friends, go to church programs.

By the way, how do you want the man to see you if you lock up yourself indoors every weekend and off day? I wrote something last year about ‘simple ways you can romanticise your lifeʼ so if you’re struggling with your social life then you should see this => https://loverealities.com.ng/2024/11/09/simple-ways-you-can-romanticize-your-life/

3. ADD COLORS TO YOUR SPACE.

I realized sometime last year that I started craving pink, lol. Moving into my own apartment after I relocated, I had all my stuff in black and white because of course I loved black but sometime last year I started craving for some colors so I decided to redecorate. To tap into your feminine energy, your space should also look feminine.

There are a lot of girly interior designs that you can get to make your space even more brighter and lively. Trust me this changes the energy around you and makes you feel even more feminine. Uplifts your mood and gives you a relaxing atmosphere. Get a girly wallpaper, change your room paint color, get pictures and art works to decorate your wall, get flowers too. Add some colors to your space Sis.

4. BUILD UP YOUR PRAYER LIFE/RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

I don’t know how people do life without God, but this is a non-negotiable. Build your prayer life, have a study/quiet time where you read the Bible and write down your thoughts on it.

Go to church, get involved, join a department, find a healthy women’s prayer /study group and join. Change your playlist! Ever heard of the phrase “we are what we listen to”. Oh yes, change your playlist.

I got a women’s devotional bible early last year and it has really helped me a great deal. I also recently started listening to Pastor Mildred Okonkwo’s podcast “Bible Before Breakfast” on spotify and that’s one of the best decisions I made this year. If you have a very busy schedule that might not give you the time to sit and study, or you’re the type that understands better when you listen, then you can download Spotify and find a devotional that you can follow up daily.

The trick is staying consistent and never going through your day without doing one spiritual exercise. That’s how you build up your prayer/study life. It’s all about being intentional.

              5. TRY NEW HOBBIES.

Experiment with activities that bring you joy, such as painting, dancing, gardening. You can even learn some girly sports such as volleyball. Another important trait of a healthy feminine energy is feeling good about your body.

Go to the gym and get in shape or you can start off at home with some daily routine workouts. Technology has made it very easy for us, you can download a workout app based on what exactly you want to achieve.

You can take up some cooking classes, learn a musical instrument, learn how to draw, learn a new language, etc.

6. INDULGE IN GUILTY PLEASURES.

Allow yourself to enjoy activities that make you feel happy and carefree, such as reading romance novels or watching your favorite TV shows. Get a Netflix subscription, it’s not expensive! I could recommend some good movies for you too… Check out these 5 girl – power nollywood series you can watch this weekend => https://loverealities.com.ng/2024/10/11/5-girl-power-nollywood-series-you-should-watch-this-weekend/

Someone once asked me, how I find the time to watch movies admist my crazy schedule and I laughed. Well, for me watching movies is a form of relaxation and I can’t trade it for anything, it also helps me to see life from different perspectives, you learn a whole lot from the movies you watch, it opens up your mind and sharpens your intellect too. Some people can stay on IG and Tiktok listening and reading mindless gossip, for me I rather watch an episode of my favourite movie!

7. CONNECT WITH LIKE-MINDED WOMEN.

Join communities or groups that align with your interests and values, and build relationships with women who support and inspire you.

My social media accounts are censored, there are pages and people I do not follow and this has kept me mentally stable.

Those Instagram pages and YouTube channels that do not edify you spiritually or build you up intellectually, physically and mentally, I wonder why you are still following them.

Finally, remember that embracing your feminine energy is a personal journey, and it’s essential to focus on what makes you feel authentic and empowered. Don’t be afraid to experiment, try new things, and make mistakes – it’s all part of the process!

I really hope you enjoyed this series? I would love to hear about your journey so far and the things you have picked up from this series and would love to run with.
