SIMPLE WAYS YOU CAN ROMANTICIZE YOUR LIFE.

To my fellow single ladies…

I’ve come to realise in this my adult life that love isn’t always romance, you see…
Sometimes it’s friendship, sometimes it can come from your colleagues at work, it could be from family.

As adults, we ought to realize that it’s nobody’s job to make us happy. As grown women it is our responsibility to find happiness by ourselves and in ourselves and then if a man comes it’s simply an addition to what is already there.

Do not wait until you “fall in love” to become happy, do not wait until you find a romantic partner before you romanticize your life… C’mon, there are several ways to take care of yourself, love up on yourself without waiting for someone to do that for you…

– Go on solo dates or hang out with them girlies.
– Have more “me” time.. You can start journaling, read a book or just sit in the quiet and breathe.
– Have a morning and night routine.
– Go to the cinema to see a movie or download it with your phone.
– Create music playslists with your favourite songs and listen whenever you want to.
– Set daily positive affirmations.
– Make good meals for yourself.
– Fall in love with art.
– Join a book club or start one with your friends
– Add more scent to your life.
– Write love letters to yourself.. You can burn or keep them afterwards.
– Start a new hobby outside your comfort zone.
– Buy things for yourself. You can make it a habit to gift yourself something every month.
– Go to church and cultivate a prayer life.
– Join the church workforce and serve.

It’s okay to take your time to find what is right for you but Sis, be happy, live your life, don’t stay on the sidelines and act like a spectator in your own story…
Appreciate every single thing that pertains to you, be grateful for the things that may seem insignificant to you even the air that you breathe. It is in finding happiness in the little things about yourself and around you, living in the moment and not stressing about the future that you become whole and literally glow up.

I’m rooting for you Sis. Yes you can ❤️

Good morning and have a lovely weekend ahead 😘

Emmanuella Ifeanyi is a reflective writer who finds meaning in life’s quiet moments - the ones often overlooked, yet deeply transformative. Through her writing, she explores themes of growth, love, identity, and becoming, drawing from personal experiences and the lessons found within them. The Seasons That Shape Us is her first book, born from a place of introspection and a desire to give voice to the unspoken parts of life’s journey : the quiet seasons, the stretching moments, and the process of finding clarity within it all. She is also the voice behind Love Realities, a blog she began in 2018, where she shares honest reflections on life, relationships, faith, and personal growth. Through this platform, she has continued to create a space for meaningful conversations and gentle healing. You can get her book on Selar. Her reflections are also shaped by her experiences within marriage, where she continues to learn, grow, and understand love more deeply. When she’s not writing, Emmanuella expresses her creativity through digital and tech spaces, working on projects that blend design, problem-solving, and user experience. She enjoys building meaningful ideas, exploring creative tools, and helping others discover paths within the tech space through her platform, Nuella’s Hub. She believes that every season, no matter how quiet, carries the potential to shape us into who we are becoming.
