MORNING CHECKLIST FOR MY WORK-FREE WEEK

Hello guys,

Who else is excited about the new week/month? I am elated because I’m off work this week so i get to rest and do other things with my life, phewww! So I’ve decided to make a morning checklist that i will follow this week and I thought to share with everyone.

If you are a morning person like me and if you have read my post on time management TIME MANAGEMENT SERIES PT 1  , then this shouldn’t be a problem.

Here’s the checklist ;

  1. Wake Up: Start by waking up early and stretching.
  2. Hydrate: Drink a full glass of water to rehydrate after a night of sleep.
  3. Pray & Study the Bible : As a Christian, praying and studying God’s word is a non-negotiable so it has to be part of your morning routine/checklist.
  4. Exercise: Spend 10-15 minutes on some light physical activity, like yoga or a short walk
  5. Meditate: Take 5-10 minutes to meditate, practice deep breathing, or simply sit quietly.
  6. Plan Your Day: Review your schedule and to-do list for the day.
  7. Eat a Healthy Breakfast: Fuel up with a nutritious breakfast to give you energy.
  8. Get Some Natural Light: Spend a few minutes outside or open your curtains to let sunlight in.
  9. Check Your Notifications: Quickly scan your emails, messages, and social media for any important updates.
  10. Set a Daily Goal: Define a key objective you want to achieve today.
  11. Smile and Start Your Day: Begin your day with a positive attitude and a smile!

Feel free to customize this checklist to fit your individual needs and preferences.

Drop a comment if you’re going to be doing this with me for the next one week.

Have a blessed week ahead.

Emmanuella Ifeanyi

Emmanuella Ifeanyi is a reflective writer who finds meaning in life’s quiet moments - the ones often overlooked, yet deeply transformative. Through her writing, she explores themes of growth, love, identity, and becoming, drawing from personal experiences and the lessons found within them. The Seasons That Shape Us is her first book, born from a place of introspection and a desire to give voice to the unspoken parts of life’s journey : the quiet seasons, the stretching moments, and the process of finding clarity within it all. She is also the voice behind Love Realities, a blog she began in 2018, where she shares honest reflections on life, relationships, faith, and personal growth. Through this platform, she has continued to create a space for meaningful conversations and gentle healing. You can get her book on Selar. Her reflections are also shaped by her experiences within marriage, where she continues to learn, grow, and understand love more deeply. When she’s not writing, Emmanuella expresses her creativity through digital and tech spaces, working on projects that blend design, problem-solving, and user experience. She enjoys building meaningful ideas, exploring creative tools, and helping others discover paths within the tech space through her platform, Nuella’s Hub. She believes that every season, no matter how quiet, carries the potential to shape us into who we are becoming.
